sundownerMike Park, the head honcho over at Asian Man Records, is gearing up for a busy ride. Other than checking out new bands, there is a lot going on at the label, including releasing new music from Sundowner, Matt Skiba, The Hot Toddies, Chris Wollard and Mike Hale. For a full report, check out below:

"Dang, things are extremely busy. The Asian Man garage is at full capacity as we are preparing all the Sundowner and Matt Skiba pre-orders for shipment next week. Organized chaos is the only way to describe the situation. It's kind of fun, but kind of not fun. Make sense? Anyways, so yes, we will be shipping all pre-orders Tuesday. So only a few more days of clutter.

The Hot Toddies Get Your Heart On hit stores yesterday. If you can do us a favor and visit your favorite record store and see if they have it in stock, that would be great. If they don't, could you kindly ask the person working to order this fine record. It's truly one of my favorite records of the year. I am excited to share it with the world.

Talked to Joe Queer today and he confirmed with me today that he will be bringing The Riptides from Ottawa out on tour in Nov/Dec of this year and then in Jan/Feb, the Apers from the Netherlands will be along for the ride.  Very exciting!! But it will be my first chance to see both bands, so yes, very exciting for me.  And hopefully exciting for you.  I will definitely be posting more information as it comes.  But hopefully we can make it a pop punk extranvaganza if we can add Kepi to the mix.  Me hopes so!!

And finally, we’ve got the Chris Wollard/Mike Hale split 7” back in stock. 300 on black vinyl.  These have a different label then the other pressings and the jackets are fold over in style vs. the pocket jacket of the previous run." ~ Mike Park
