There aren't many artists, especially rap artists, who are completely honest and sincere in their music. Versatilly, however, is one of the few who are. On his debut album Ruthless, the 27-year-old MC spits about the struggles and heartache he has experienced while living in his hometown of Spring Branch, a community within Houston, Texas. That isn't to say the low-income town is a bad place, but it has its fair share of tragedy as heard on the grimy "Laid To Rest." While there are situations centered around violence and romance on "Bring It" and "Please Take Me In" respectively, there is also a lot of genuine concern for the future as exemplified on "Givin' In." Versatilly is brutally honest about how Ruthless life can be and that's something most artists aren't too honest about.
