Most notably, emotional records like “Shoot Down The Moon,” “It’s Over” and “Career Pigeons” steal the show as the singer/songwriter entirely bares his heart on his sleeve. While those selections may be a little tender, there’s also a delightful assortment of more punk-influenced riffs like “A Liar’s Love,” “Boarding Pass” and “Planners.” 2009 Bedroom Recordings is a wonderful glimpse into the life of Melody Meets Me and this indie pop rock torchbearer has a promising music career in the making.
