Born in the UK and growing up as the child of a Pentecostal Minister, Coraleena comes from a family of singers and musicians. She loved to sing and did so every chance that she got. For hours on end Coraleena would sit in her bedroom and sing to the oldies. Just as her career began it came to an abrupt end; and by the age of 21 Coraleena had quit singing to concentrate on marriage and raising her sons. After a tumultuous relationship with her ex-husband, Coraleena returned to the music scene after many years and once again to her first love.....singing.
