The artwork is temporary! ******** State of Affliction Bio This written By Candice regarding her and her music: I was born May 29, 1983 in Winston Salem, NC. According to my family I started singing before I started talking. I took an interest in guitar when I was 15 and have taught myself everything I know. The music I write is based on real-life experiences. I don’t write a song hoping that it will be something that will sale… I write how I feel. Behind every song is a story. I have been trying to get into the music industry for a couple of years now, but the bands I was with did not want to put forth the effort to make it somewhere. As luck would have it, I came across Dyskfunctional Records and in the short amount of time I have been with them, I know I can call them family… it’s where I was meant to be. I have played a few small venues and for community functions, but haven’t made it to the big leagues yet. I am dedicated to my fans… they are the ones that make you and are there no matter what!! Candice has a rather large history in music, but currently we are working on her biography.
