DJ Green Lantern is out to prove that he is the premier mixtape specialist roaming the globe. He teamed up with several artists out of the Shady/Aftermath camp for a special compilation entitled Invasion Part 1: Shady Times. Eminem is the star of the show as he effortlessly rhymes about his solid talent roster on "Invasion" and he slings a few diss tracks at former Source co-owner/rapper Benzino. Lantern also blends several popular verses from artists like 50 Cent, Mobb Deep, Obie Trice and others, thus making it feel more like a radio program than a mixtape. That's not a bad thing though; Invasion Part 1: Shady Times is much better than most of the stuff played on radio.
