Electrifying St. Louis rock band Story of the Year have announced a headlining US spring tour with Maylene & The Sons of Disaster, After Midnight Project and Monty Are I in support of their forthcoming album, The Constant, which is due out on February 16 via Epitaph Records. Ticket pre-sales begin at 3:00PM (local time) on February 9 and general on-sales begin February 12/13.

Punk rock proponents for social justice, Street Dogs, have announced plans to return to the studio in February to record their fifth studio album and follow-up to their critically acclaimed 2008 Hellcat debut State of Grace. The band will be recording with bassist Johnny Rioux as producer and Rick Barton (original Dropkick Murphys guitarist) co-producing at the infamous punk rock studio the Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Colorado which was built by members of Descendents, All and Black Flag.

Multi-platinum rock band Green Day are in the studio this week recording a new version of their hit single "21 Guns" with the cast of American Idiot — the critically-acclaimed stage version of the band's 2004 album that has been playing at Berkeley Rep since early September. The band's singer and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong is producing the track, which will impact radio at the end of November and be made available for purchase through all digital retailers.

The Estate of Bradley Nowell, Sublime's late singer, guitarist and primary songwriter, issued a statement today regarding the use of the band's name by Sublime bassist Eric Wilson and Sublime drummer Floyd "Bud" Gaugh. 


Bremerton, WA's punk trio MxPx will be embarking on an International tour to Japan and Malaysia, but with a slight twist. An MxPx All-Star line-up has been announced featuring MxPx lead vocalist and bassist Mike Herrera along with Kris Roe of The Ataris on guitar and Chris Wilson of The Summer Obsession on drums. The MxPx All-Stars will perform four dates in Japan with friends, Zebrahead starting on December 4 in Tokyo and ending in Osaka on December 8. The All-Stars will then head off to KualaLumpur, Malaysia for a solo date on December 11.

Today, one day before the first performance of Green Day's American Idiot, Berkeley Repertory Theatre announced that it will extend the show due to record-breaking sales and unprecedented demand for seats. Originally scheduled to close on October 11, this hotly anticipated world premiere has been extended three weeks and will now play through Sunday, November 1. Pop-punkers Blink 182 began their tour in Las Vegas last night to a sold out crowd of 4,000 adoring fans. The band played a 22 song set that included work mostly from their most recent three albums. 


The pop punk trio will officially start the next chapter of their music careers this Thursday, July 23rd when they kick off their tour. Singer/bassist Mark Hoppus recently gushed to Rolling Stone that they have worked with Martin Phillips, the guy responsible for designing sets for Kanye West and Nine Inch Nails.
The newly re-united punk trio wants everyone to know they are back with a vengeance, and they are doing something a little extra special for their upcoming reunion tour. Blink 182 has teamed up with artist Maxx242 and pickRset to create a special, one-of-a-kind, limited edition poster.


Can you believe that MxPx have been around for 17 years? It blows my mind. It seems like just yesterday since the group played their earliest shows. Then again, it's been a while since I've been in middle school.
Everyone's favorite Utah punk rock outfit is returning back to the mainstream scene of the crime with their fourth studio album entitled Artwork. It drops September 1st, but in the meantime, heads can get a sneak peak into what the upcoming fourth studio album will sound like when the leadoff single "Blood On My Hands" drops on radio July 14th.


Pop-punkers Set Your Goals has some news for you. The group has just released a video for the title track of their new album "This Will Be The Death Of Us." The record is slated for release on July 21st and will be doing a co-headlining tour with dope fellow pop-punk troupe Four Year Strong.

It's not exactly realistic as some of the bands aren't even around
anymore, but one can dream can't they?
